The University developed the Advance Registration process to ensure that students are able, in an equitable manner, to register for courses that are needed for graduation. A student who registers for a class with the intention of holding or reserving the seat for another student is in violation of the UIC Student Conduct Policy. Violation of this policy will result in the loss of Advance Registration status and may include additional sanctions.
