Reverse Transfer Articulation
Reverse transfer articulation is a partnership with the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) and UIC where students who matriculate to UIC have the option of petitioning the City Colleges for an Associate's degree while working towards a UIC Bachelor's degree. Please note that the Chicago City Colleges will determine whether an Associate’s Degree will be awarded following review of the UIC transcript and any other college credits earned. In order to qualify for this program you must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 15 semester credit hours earned at the City Colleges of Chicago.
- A minimum of 45 transferable semester credit hours earned at UIC or in combination with other schools attended. Submit all transcripts to CCC at the destination address listed below.
- Students must earn a grade of "C" or better in all courses used to satisfy core curriculum and general education degree requirements and hold a minimum graduation GPA of 2.0 at CCC. For general inquiries regarding the City Colleges of Chicago Reverse Transfer of Credit initiative, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
