Christopher Sayre

Christopher Sayre, University Registrar oversees the Office of the Registrar, which includes Records, Registration Services, Transcripts, Course Management and Academic Space Scheduling (CMASS), Medical Immunization and Athletic Compliance.

Chris is an accomplished higher educational professional with forward-thinking experience in the Office of the Registrar. He has proven ability to manage and lead a team in project management, implementation of new processes and procedures, and is experienced in FERPA compliance/regulations, data reporting using Business Objects, Ellucian Banner, Student Self-Service, XE Registration, College Scheduler, Mobius View, and Banner Document Manager.

He has implemented and improved various processes, such as a new electronic submission and processing of immunization records, an electronic university term withdrawal system, FERPA request form and UIC Law Graduation Supplemental Application.

Chris holds a BA in Criminology, Law and Justice from the University of Illinois Chicago, an MA in Human Service-Social Service Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield, and an MS in Information Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He has served on the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Offices (AACRAO)-Group III: Registration and Academic Support Committee, along with serving as the Illinois Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (IACRAO) Northeast District Chair. He also regularly takes part in regional, state, and national professional development opportunities.
